Camp Reggae over the weekend was a blast! I love that campground in Turtletown, Tennessee, and it’s great seeing familiar faces at a festival. We played with the band’s old drummer because our current drummer was out of town, so that was definitely interesting. We had never played together before, and we did not practice at all. We pulled it off though!

On Saturday, I am leaving for the sunny beaches of Florida to vacation with my girlfriend and her family. I am planning on still making a bass loop video for next week, but I might send the e-mail later than usual.

This week’s looping video is a simple funk bass line that I created different layers over to play the melody and improvise. It’s definitely a fun loop to play, and I enjoy how the video turned out. Let me know what you think in the comments of the video!
